Privacy policy

The short version

Inerflo is run by Inerflo, which is the data controller for your account. We collect only what Inerflo needs to work. We don't sell your data, show adverts or track you around the web.

What we collect

  • Your account: your email address, the name you give us, your timezone, currency and working hours, and any business details you add for invoices.
  • What you put in: clients and their contact details, work, notes, comments, checklists, calendar times and invoices.
  • Technical records: basic logs such as sign-in times and IP addresses, kept by our hosting providers to run and protect the service.

Why we use it

  • To give you the service you signed up for (performance of our contract with you).
  • To send sign-in links and the reminders you can switch off in Settings (contract, and our legitimate interest in the product doing its job).
  • To keep Inerflo secure and fix problems (legitimate interest).

Details about your clients

When you add a client's name, email or phone number, you decide why and how that information is used. We hold it on your behalf and only to show it back to you. No other Inerflo user can see it.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of providers to run Inerflo. They process data on our instructions:

  • Supabase, for the database and sign-in.
  • Vercel, for hosting the app.
  • Resend, for sending email.

Some of these may process data outside the UK. Where they do, it is covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires. We share data with no one else unless the law makes us.

Cookies

Inerflo sets one essential cookie that keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When you ask us to delete the account, everything in it is removed, apart from anything the law requires us to keep.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, receive a copy, or object to how we use it. Email hello@yourdomain and we'll reply within a month.

If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email you before the change takes effect.
